Lynnderella She Lived in a Swamp and Ozotic 507

Hello everyone. So sorry to have ignored my blog for so long, but I am back. I thought I would do a short post to show you some pretty polishes that had been sitting in my untried pile. I paired Ozotic 507 with Lynnderella She Lived in a Swamp to wear for St. Patrick's day. Yes, that was a while ago but anyway. I used two coats of 507 which is a gorgeous multi chrome. It shifts from gold, to green to almost blue at certain angles. SLiaS is a clear base packed with chartreuse hex and bar glitter, light green and dark green hex glitter of varying sizes. The dark green glitters are rather sparse. I didn't have any issues with application. I found it was best to dab the glitter on and then spread it around. I didn't take any pictures of 507 by itself. I'll have to do that on another post.
Take a look:

The golden shift in 507 really shows in these sunlight shots.

You can really see the different colors of glitter in these last two pics. Like I said the darker green glitter is very sparse and small. I think I managed to get a large green hex on my other hand.

Well, what did you think. Pretty cute and blingy for St. Patricks Day right? Ozotics can be purchased at several retailers like Harlow &Co, Ninja Polish and Llarowe which is where I got mine. Lynnderella is only available through Llarowe. It's best to check her website and Facebook page for updates on when and how she is taking orders for Lynnderella polishes.

Thanks for taking a look.

NerdLacquer Batcave

Happy Sunday Everyone! Today I have NerdLacquer Batcave. I had to get up pretty early to get this pretty, but I got it! It was well worth the trouble. Batcave is a charcoal black base with tons of silver shimmer, blue, purple and holographic hex glitter plus black square glitter. The pictures below are two coats of Batcave, one coat of gelous and one coat of topcoat. I tried Poshe topcoat for the first time. I thought it dried just as fast and shiny as Seche Vite. May switch to this since it does not contain Toluene. Anyways on with the pics...

You can see some of the square black  glitter in this pic. With the dark base it can be hard to see them.
Love the holographic sparkles.

Batcave is one shade in a NerdLacquer trio that is exclusive to Harlow &Co. She is currently out of stock, but will have this available again soon.

I hope you enjoyed this. Thanks for checking it out.

NerdLacquer Holy Grail

Well hello there! I couldn't wait to do today's post. This is a brand new Special Edition polish by NerdLacquer creator Amanda Collier. When her Etsy store finally opened back up I saw this and had to have it! She describes it as: "a super-fine-grained satiny linear holo in a dusty blue-green base with silver microglitter, medium blue-green iridescent glitter, and a liberal sprinkling of big square and hexagonal silver holo glitter. Oh, also? GLOWS IN THE DAMN DARK."
Now as much as glow in the dark may excite some people it doesn't do anything for me. She had me at linear holo plus glitter.
Application for this like the rest of her polishes I have tried was easy. It can be worn alone, it is opaque in two coats. I chose to layer it over OPI Thanks a Windmillion, which is a dusty light green, because I didn't want to cover up any of the glitter with multiple coats. One coat of Seche Vite is enough to get a nice smooth surface. I took lots of pics. Enjoy.

This is in the sun and shows off the linear holo effect. I know some have said that the holo effect is lessened with top coat. I did not have that problem.

This is in the shade and you can better see the glitter in this pic and the next.

Well, what do you think. Pretty nice huh? As I mentioned I bought this directly from the NerdLacquer Etsy store. It can also be purchased at the new Ninja Polish store that just opened. Just be warned this polish retails for $16 due to the special ingredients most other NerdLacquers are $10.

I hope you enjoyed this. Thanks for checking it out.
