Ozotic 505 + 528

Hello all. Today I have my new favorite polish to show you. I've been waiting two months to get my hands on Ozotic 505. I actually had it on order and then changed my order to 518 (red holo) at the last minute. Not that 518 isn't nice, but I didn't expect to have to wait this long for the opportunity to get 505. Anyways it was well worth the wait. I have a few of the other Ozotic multi chromes this one by far has the most intense color change! It's so hard for me to wear any non-glitter polish by itself, so I combined 505 with Ozotic 528 which is a clear based micro-glitter with the same color shift. I thought they complemented each other well.

This is gorgeous in the sun!

the sparkles in 528 really show up in this pic

I had the hardest time trying to capture the all green shift. When the sun hits my nails the color shift was simply amazing. I had the hardest time not to keep staring at them when I drove home from work. I wore two coats of a black polish as a base color since 505 is too sheer to wear on its own. I added two coats of 505 and one of 528 for a little sparkle. I topped this off with one coat of Seche Vite. This is definitely a color that I will wear again and again.
Both of these polishes can be purchased from Llarowes website which is where I got them. They are also available from Harlow&Co or the Picture Polish website.

What did you think? Thanks for taking a look.

Lynnderella- The Telltale Heart

Hello. I have another Lynnderella for you today. This will be a quick post of an older swatch since I am out of town visiting my daughter in college. The Telltale Heart was part of Lynnderellla's Early Halloween collection she describes it as magenta squares, hexagons and micro-glitter in a blue- and pink-sparked translucent magenta base that can provide opaque coverage in three coats. Here it is over two coats of Illamasqua Phallic.

I really liked how the glitter stood out against the deep blue of Phallic. I got a ton of compliments when I wore this combination. I would recommend a coat of Gelous along with top coat when wearing TTH.Check Llarowe's website to order Lynnderella polish.

Hope you enjoyed this.

Lynnderella- Matter of the Heart

Happy Valentines Day All! Or as some of my unattached co-workers prefer, Happy Singles Awareness Day. Today I will be showing you Lynnderella's Matter of the Heart. A perfect glitter for Valentines Day. I will borrow Lynn's description "Matter of the Heart has red, fuchsia, pink, silver holographic multi-sized hexagons and squares with scattered holographic holo hearts in a sheer milky pink base with subtle pink shimmer." In the bottle it is gorgeous! When I first swatched it on a nail wheel I was a little disappointed because I couldn't get much glitter onto the brush. Well I am over that! I have swatched it on my nails and love it! I'm wearing it over Illamasqua Loella and Pure Ice Busted for added shimmer.

I absolutely LOVE how this turned out. I found that if I dab MotH on I can get more glitter. I even managed to get some of the holographic hearts on a few fingers. I ended up using one coat of base coat, two coats of Loella, one coat of busted and two to three dabs/coats of MotH. I topped this off with a coat of Gelous and Seche Vite. MotH has a milky base so you do have to be careful not to end up with streaks when wearing it over darker base colors.

Check Llarowe's website for information on how to order Lynnderella polishes.

Nerd Lacquer- Nebula

Today I have Nebula which is from Nerd Lacquer's "From Space" Series. It is "A blackened fuchsia with red and silver glitter, red and fuchsia small and medium hexagonal glitter, iridescent glitter, small lavender glitter, and generously spiked with fine and ultra fine holographic sparkles". I bought this and Pinin' for the Fjords from the Nerd Lacquer Etsy store. After seeing the crazy amount of glitter in the bottle I decided I had to swatch this one first!

I found Nebula to be easy to apply. It was opaque in two coats. The pics shown are with base coat, two coats of Nebula, one coat of Gelous and one coat of Seche Vite. I love this color. I have since bought three more and am waiting for her Etsy store to re-open. Nerd Lacquer can also be purchased at Harlow & Co.

Thanks for taking a look. What do you think?

Most amazing haul ever!

In my short polish addicted life this has been the best week's haul ever!

Let's start with Monday:
I got two polishes from Lacquistry. Plucked spider, which is a dark red jelly with black micro hex glitter with small red hex and red and black bar glitter. Jenna describes Tepes as "a blackened berry base which is swirled with iridescent mica giving a slight color shift, topped with amber sparks grounded by a berry shimmer."

And then on Wednesday:
My pre-order of Cult Nails "Nekkid Collection" arrived.

love the little "polish burritos"

So for Thursday:
My second Nerd Lacquer order came in. This time I got Resolutionary, I aim to Misbehave and It's just a Flesh Wound.

Can't wait to try Resolutionary. Might have to wear it this week.
Hmm... I Aim to Misbehave looks awfully similar to Nebula. I'll have to do a comparison swatch.

Now on to Friday.....
Finally! the Lovely is as Lovely Does collection by Lynnderella.

And then finally on Saturday (the fun just did not stop)...
Manglaze, I loved ILF so much I had to try a few more. I got Mayo, Mink Mitten and through in Matte is Murder since it was marked down.
So I almost feel embarrassed with so much polish. However in my defense I did not order these all at once. Some just took longer to arrive than others. What should I try first? Decisions, decisions...

Thanks for taking a look.

Manglaze ILF + Butter London Knackered

Today I have Manglaze ILF paired with Butter London Knackered. Let's talk about ILF first. I saw a post on Samarium's blog pairing this with Connect the Dots and fell in love with this color. I promptly ordered it and I was not disappointed once I received it. ILF is described as a sea foamy green and has a slight shimmer to it that really comes out when shiny top coat is added.

Now when you add a coat of seche vite...
I love how the shimmers come out with top coat.

Next I added Butter London Knackered which by itself is very sheer. It has a purple to green duochrome effect and holographic micro glitter.
